Frequently Asked Questions
The word actomizer was made from 3 other words ACTivate, aTOM and fertilIZER. Our products are used like many traditional fertilizers, but they are charged or activated which further helps them break down nutrients at the atom level making it easier for plant life to uptake needed nutrients.
Each product contains a number of proprietary ingredients; however active carbon is the main building block of our products. We like to say that it isn’t so much “What’s in the product” as much as “What’s not in the product?” Our products are nothing like any tradition fertilizer you have used. We have become proficient in the use of humic and fulvic acid and activating carbon to be able to reduce the pH and increase drastically the amount of oxygen available to the plant.
Active Carbon is very comprehensive and can be difficult to understand, but to learn more you can view this link or download this guide.
Your soils and climate are unique to you. Vi-Core does not give a general rate as there is no such thing as “general soil.” Part of our unprecedented results come from our ability to tailor your program to your soils, climate and desired results. Your local representative will go over application rates and procedures with you specific to your needs.
To be able to effectively diagnose your course or turf we need to know what nutrient levels are currently in your soil and the water you use to irrigate. We prefer to use Midwest Labs as their reports are easy to read and in addition they are one of a few labs who do a nitric acid test. Nitric Acid tests allow us to determine what nutrient levels exist in your soils that are bound and previously unavailable to the plant. Our actomizers are built to unlock these bound nutrients in your soils. The testing needed for soil is PT2 and S3C from Midwest Labs. A regular irrigation water sample will be fine for the water testing.
Yes! Our product labels and more information on them can be found here.
All actomizers are in liquid form as this takes less energy for the plant to absorb. All products are shipped in 250 gallon totes. Smaller sizes are available upon request for trials (note that the price in bulk totes is more cost effective than in smaller sizes).
